AS a Tech Lead / Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing software applications that meet business, functional and technical requirements. You will also lead the various dev teams and work closely with the Project / Delivery Manager to ensure the delivery of the solutions to our customers.
As Tech Lead, you will:
•Be responsible for the overall quality of the delivery (code review, test coverage, documentation etc.)
•Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
•Lead development streams following Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices, reporting progress, status and risks to Project and / or IT Manager
•Lead and coordinate development teams: delegation, mentoring/coaching team members, etc.
•Perform assessments for future projects
•Actively write code
•Work in RnD stream performing POC for future architectures and software platform
As Architect, you will:
•Be able to understand the business requirements and convert them into solution designs using modelling languages
•Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
•Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements
•Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
•Focus on key quality attributes that drive out architectural vision (scalability, performance, usability concerns, etc.)
•Manage lifecycle of Tango SOA middleware
•Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Business Information Systems
•Minimum 10 years of experience as Software Engineer
•Proven experience leading development teams with successful results
•Proven experience on system integration in complex environments
•Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
•Excellent knowledge of UML and other modelling methods
•Sound experience in the following technologies: ◦Java SE, JEE and/or Spring, JUnit, Angular JS / Angular
◦SOA principals, Security patterns, Java
◦SOAP, Restful WS , CXF, Apache Camel, Apache AM
◦Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar , SVN, Git
Considered as a plus:
•ICT and Telecom Business domain understanding
•Camel, OSGI (Karaf), Red Hat JBoss AS / EAP , Red Hat SSO , Red Hat Fuse
•JIRA, Confluence, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
•Configuration Management/Source Control and Build Automation processes
•BPM design ideally Alfresco Activities
•PaaS solutions like Cloudfoundry , Openshift
•Microservices, Docker, Containers, Orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes)
•Team player who is flexible and able to work with end-users and production issues simultaneously
•Excellent communication skills, must be able to clearly communicate ideas, decisions and reasoning to both technical and non-technical team members
•High quality organizational and leadership skills
•Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
•Technical mindset with great attention to detail
•Creativity in addressing technical challenges / problem solver / analytical skills
•Strong written and verbal skills
•Languages: English is a must, French, German and / or Luxembourgish considered an asset
