The Radio Network service is responsible for design, authorisation, implement and operations of the POST Luxembourg Radio Mobile Network, to ensure the highest quality and best Mobile Coverage for our customer.
In order to strengthen our teams, we are currently looking for a Mobile Radio Network Engineer (m/f)
•Participate as a technical expert POST’s Radio Access Network Evolution Project and contribute to the deployment of 5GNR and the optimization of the 2G/3G/4G radio network.
•Join the Mobile Radio Network Team, in charge of planning, evolution, validation, optimization and operation of POST’s different radio access networks
•Lead or participate in technology evolution and optimization projects within the RAN and define or implement the changes necessary to support new evolutions of mobile products
•Manage the testing environment and validate all new hardware, software, features and parametrizations
•Ensure and optimize level 2 and level 3 operational activities on the mobile RAN (optimization/change/incident/problem management)
•Participate to a 24/7 on-call duty cycle.
•Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering with, at least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, especially in RAN
•Be recognized for your knowledge and technical expertise in the network infrastructures at a mobile services provider 2G/3G/4G/5G RAN and/or Core, IPv4/v6 Networks, Radio planning and optimization
•Benefit from knowledge and experience in datacenter and IT infrastructures (networks, routing, security, virtualization, orchestration, etc.)
•Have, ideally, experience with Atoll radio planning tool, Tems investigation as well as project management skills
•Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
•Be structured, open minded and solution-oriented
•Have outstanding communication skills in English. French and/or German would be a plus
