Tasks:
Innovation and new technologies oriented, solution minded, you will design, implement, configure and validate infrastructure solutions. You will be part of the Technology Transformation Consulting team, a team of expert infrastructure consultants, infrastructure architects and project managers focused on helping our clients bring their ICT infrastructure to a higher level.
As a Consultant, you are responsible for the logical design and high level technical design of the solution and the overall technology strategy and direction for the solution. You focuses on ensuring that the solution meets the specified goals from both an end-user and service management perspective. The main responsibilities include (both for presales and paid missions):
Maintaining and developing solid relationship with customers as a trusted advisor
Detailing and managing the solution scope and driving technology decisions
Translating business goals into an architectural strategy
Driving the overall high level technical design of the solution
Ensuring consistency across all aspects of a project and within the overall solution architecture
Ensuring traceability of features back to requirements and back to business value generation
Using a solid and broad technology background to focus on the broad, long-term and high level aspects Your transformation projects will mainly be situated on the following key areas:
Manages the risks of the project and takes appropriate preventative action
Deliver Design Documentation and technical system documentation
Profil :
Technical skills Required :
Wintel specialist
Proven track record in architecture and design of complex infrastructures (mainly focused on Microsoft).
Virtualization: ESX, Hyper-V…
Applications packaging (XenApp, AppV… )
Proven experience in technical consulting, infrastructure assessment, project envisioning, planning and design
Good knowledge of Active Directory.
Good knowledge of SQL 2005/2008 (DBA and Server).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007 or 2010
Good knowledge of Microsoft Service Center Suite
Deep understanding of connecting, routing, data transfer, Protocols, Firewalls, TCP
Good knowledge of Hardware
Familiar with and capable of applying MSF and MOF
TCO/ROI calculation experience – able to help make the business case for IT Nice to Have
Microsoft Certifications (MCITP level) : Enterprise Administrator, Server management, Virtualization
Certification in ITIL, PMI or Prince2 is an asset.
Soft skills Required
Able to provide and demonstrate leadership
Able to clearly communicate requirements, scope and directions
Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English
Client and result oriented
Pragmatic, Creative, Diplomatic and Flexible
University degree or equivalent
10 years’ experience in solution for Microsoft environments.
