Full-Time Data Scientist – DevOps Consultant

We are looking for a motivated and experimented Data Scientist or DevOps consultant who would like to lean her/his career into IT security, and to join our Splunk team in charge of daily administration of a large Splunk deployment.
The mission includes undertaking automatic data collection, preprocessing, analyzing, cleansing and correlating data from various data sources. The selected candidate will be involved in the daily administration and the development activities of Splunk Apps as well.
-Undertaking automatic data collection, preprocessing, analyzing, cleansing and correlating data from various sources, specially our CMDB.
-Development of Ansible playbooks to configure and administer better our large Splunk platform.
-Assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolve incidents related to the availability, performance and security of Splunk platform.
-Keen to learn Splunk App development and getting involved in data-onbording, field extraction and building dashboards.
-Working with several applications involved in the process of incident, problem, change and configuration management based on ITIL framework: HP Service Manager, BMC Atrium CMDB, Dynatrace.
-Improve operational efficiency by automating the repetitive activities via Ansible playbooks and/or Python scripts.
-Open to take over on-call duty during outside normal working hours (from 20:00 to 08:00); weekends and holidays in rotating shifts.
-Contribute in the documentations and improve standard operation procedures.
-knowledge and expertise in Python scripting, Ansible, Jenkins or any other DevOps solutions.
-Excellent troubleshooting and analytical approach to solve data management challenges.
-Very comfortable to work in Linux (RHEL) and Windows server.
-Rigorous, fast learner, teamwork spirit, service-oriented mindset (respecting SLAs) and problem-solving aptitude and keen to improve existing service.
-Ability to work and communicate in a multi-cultural environment.
-Any expertise on any NoSQL solutions like MongoDB is a big asset.
-Familiar with Data Centre (or large IT) environment to interact with several teams: Database, VMWare, networking, UNIX, Windows server and Web application administrators.
-English language (speaking and writing).
