APPLICATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST for Corporate & Investment Banking
Context:
Integrate a European technical team and participate to the deployment and maintenance of functionalities for Cash Management and Payment Systems for CIB. The position includes production support.
Objective of the job:
- Prepare test environments
- Run environments to deploy new applications versions or interfaces
- Support delivery to production
- Study, Specify, Estimate cost for new developments
- Perform development
- Production incident and bug analysis
- Production monitoring
- Night on-call service for production follow-up
Location: Brussels
Start: Asap
Duration: 1 year and more
Languages: English and French fluently
Required level and content of Bachelor degree
education in IT
Personal skills
Mandatory:
Structured, meticulous, organized
Dynamic team player but also independant
Practical, result and action-oriented
Analytical minding
Ability to understand the impacts of a change
Sense of the urgency in the resolution of incident
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Very good written and spoken in French
Quick learner
Able to build good relationship with other departments
Preferable:
Business experience required
Mandatory:
At least 3 years of professional experience in first, second and/or third line application support
Responsible for the availability and the performance of the applications in line with the agreed SLA
Preferable:
Technical experience required
Mandatory:
Strong experience in Cobol is an absolute must !
WXP / Unix – AIX / Unikix
Pacbase / Syncsort / Perl / awk / Java / ksh
Oracle / SQL
JCL / TNG or other scheduler
Functional experience required
Preferable
Payment System / SWIFT / SEPA
Cash Management products
Accounting system
Others
On-call service for production support
Potential travels to France or in Europe
